Review: Superbad is a teen movie. You will compare American Pie, losers in its efforts to get laid title and gross-out comedy sometimes. But the comparison is unfair - Superbad movie funnier and more subversive right of American Pie and its sequels awful. The three central characters are a believer, the relationship likable, but the film takes time to create. Cera, Hill (who deserves special praise for turning what could be a character not just the sweet, if the nose, mouth and rough teenager) and bounce Mintz-Plasse from each other perfectly. Movies create some funny situations, and more importantly, funny dialogue throughout. In addition to the comic misfires - Gag sight for too long (and poor judgment) the sum involved with art and drama - Superbad me laughing constantly. Sweet, its funny as hell, and set the load for new talent. |
