Review: Agnitum Outpost Antivirus Pro is an intuitive security application that removes viruses and spyware agents from infected systems. The interface of the application is based on a modern window with a clean layout, where you can perform a quick, custom or full system scan. The custom option allows users to include selected files extensions and in-depth heuristics, skip small-sized files, scan archives, include multiple objects (e.g. running processes, boot sectors, startup entries, Windows system folders), as well as quarantine infected files if applicable. Settings can be restored to their factory values. In the quarantine section you can restore or remove viruses or spyware permanently. Furthermore, Agnitum Outpost Antivirus Pro contains self-protection, auto-learn and entertainment modes, a real-time shield and email scanner, web control, and other useful tools. Reports can be read in log files. Agnitum Outpost Antivirus Pro has a good response time and takes a reasonable amount of time to finish a scan job. No error dialogs were shown in our tests, and the app did not hang or crash. Thanks to its intuitive layout and advanced settings, Agnitum Outpost Antivirus Pro should please all users. |
