The interface is minimal, with an option to open the file, one to play the processed track and a third one to start the vocal removal. The actual processing takes a few moments, depending on the size of the input audio file and as soon as the operation is complete, you can listen to the output file In the case of the music tracks we used for testing, the results were far from astonishing. In some cases YoGen Vocal Remover didn manage to completely take out the vocals from the song, while in others the entire audio quality was compromised to a certain extent. Even after processing the result file again and again the vocals were not entirely removed. Apparently, in order to have the voice totally cleaned from your tracks it must be positioned right in the middle of the stereo mix. If the vocals placement differs, the results will be just as presented above, so it all comes down to how the original songs are recorded and mixed. Fortunately, there is an upside to it related to the stress on system resources which should be minimal, so you can run this tool even on older PCs. All in all, YoGen Vocal Remover deserves a chance, but its not guaranteed that itll do a flawless job. |
