Review: ArcSoft Magic-i is a webcam tool designed to enhance the whole videochatting experience by offering several customization options, but also advanced utilities aimed at your webcam. First of all, the interface is the special element that makes everything so easy to use, allowing you not only to view the webcam and the applied effects in real time, but also choose from the available templates with ease. There are multiple options displayed right in the main window, which means you can pick from filters, themes, frames and distortions, with multiple entries for each of them. Beside all these customization settings, ArcSoft Magic-i also features whats being called ?Stream Splitter? technology that allows you to use a single webcam on multiple apps at the same time, such as Yahoo Messenger, Skype and Windows Live Messenger. Last but not least, it also boasts dedicated tools to host live video conferences and even share multimedia files with ease. It doesn hamper system performance, despite the great amount of features it provides, while working flawlessly on all Windows flavors on the market. Administrator privileges are however required on Windows 7 to launch the program. Overall, ArcSoft Magic-i is clearly an advanced software solution that relies on a great pack of features, with a very simple interface and intuitive options.
